Roman stood on guard, in front of him, the huntress was quick approaching her aim in site, and behind him he could hear the knife as it went spiraled behind him. The realization hit him hard, Roman was outnumbered, these two mere human girls had showed him up and now they had him cornered and trapped, the hunter was caught in his own trap.
In front of him, Roman watched as the huntress charged towards him, her knife aiming threateningly as she held it out in front of her, the aim he was unsure of until she successfully launched it into his gut. Roman managed to push the huntress away after the fact and pulled the knife out of the wound. He froze for a moment and laid his hand over the wound right after throwing the knife to the side in rage that she had managed to injure him.
Behind him Roman could hear the other knife spiraling towards him. " You win." He said, surrendering. He focused his energy hard, " Until next time." He said just as he said using his astral abilities to disappear from the spot before the second weapon could get him.

Akeelah could not help but feel a little bit of pleasure when her knife finally hit its mark. Ultimately it did not matter whether or not she could hit him, with two people attacking the lone demon it was only a matter of time till one of them hit him. But still she didn’t think she would get him again, he would have had an easier time trying to counter or dodge the person he was facing now rather than the girl at his back. Akeelah was merely a decoy. But something within the enemy distracted him and because of that he slipped up. They were going to win this fight, it was only a matter of time till Roman was defeated, and once they overpowered the bastard once and for all she would make sure that he was dead. This time she would let Angel have the honor of the final blow assuming that he didn’t die from a single blow from either side first. It was her way of making up for the lost opportunity the first time.
But unfortunately things would not end like she had hoped. In his fury Roman pushed the smaller girl away, forcing her back onto the ground, this time without her weapon. Akeelah let out a growl in frustration as she tried to push herself back onto her feet. Damn that bastard, she would make him pay for that the second that she got her weapon back. But before she could get back onto her feet the demon had already vanished, the other knifed aimed for his head whizzing just over her head. Never before in her life was Akeelah glad that she was so short.
Slowly Akeelah got back up onto her feet, lightly brushing herself off and walking over to retrieve her knife. She turned her attention back onto Angel. “We better get out of here before anyone else shows up.” She said; the place had been cleared of any of the other students while they were fighting Roman but that didn’t mean that no one else was bound to show up. At worst Roman could have fled not to go away and lick his wounds but to get help. The last thing that the girls needed was another demon to deal with right after the first one. That or the police, whether anyone else knew what Roman was beyond her and Angel they would have a hard time trying to explain what had happened with the police without sufficient evidence.
“Come we can go over to my place.” Akeelah offered, “It’s probably the safest place right now.” That was probably true, as far as she knew Roman had no idea where she lived. Unless he went as far as to sneak into the school’s private records he would not find out where she lived. Even if he did she had a stash full of weapons hidden away in her place, if he or anyone associated with him tried to intrude they would have one hell of a fight to deal with. “Unless you have somewhere else in mind?” It was possible that Angel knew of a more secure place to retreat to for the time being, but she highly doubted that.
“Besides….we need to talk.” She said, looking over at Angel’s new form once more. Like it or not Akeelah had no idea what to think about this new side of Angel. To see that the girl she had sworn to protect wasn’t human left her confused. But she wouldn’t switch her loyalties yet, not until she heard Angel’s side of the story.

The knife in which Angel had been controlling hit nothing but air as Roman disappeared. Bastard Angel thought as she felt the disappointment already eating at her. She had been close, too close. If he had of stayed in that one spot just a little longer it too, like Akeelah's blade would have found it's mark on the back of Roman's neck. But it didn't and Roman was gone to recuperate, to get stronger for the next time they would meet.
The sorceress watched as Akee turned to face her. Angel, who was now used to the new form she took when her power heightened never considered the questions Akeelah have up until now. For a moment before she heard the girl talked Angel became worried again, how was she going to explain this. And what if Akee decided to finish her off?
She caught the huntress' eyes, watching as Akee gave her a look over knowing how this may be hard to comprehend. Hell, when it first started she herself found it hard to soak in. Angel found herself rather taken back when Akeelah invited her over to her house, she even felt a strong sense of gratitude at this and nodded her head in agreement. " You're right," she said looking around her, everything was quiet, perhaps a little too quiet now. " We should get out of here."
